Here are some things you NEED to know before your trip!

❌ Only staying in Dublin - Ireland has incredible landscapes and coastal towns worth exploring! The west coast is beyond beautiful.

🚙 Not renting a car - Public transport is limited outside cities. Road trips are the best way to see the real Ireland, avoid the crowds and travel at your own pace.

⏰ Thinking Irish roads are fast and easy - Many roads are narrow, winding and might have sheep blocking the way. Be prepared! 🐑

☔️ Underestimate the weather - It can be sunny, rainy, and windy all in one hour. Layers and a rain jacket are a must!

🛌 Not booking accommodations in advance - Popular places fill up fast!

🍻 Setting wrong pub expectations - Don’t wait too long to grab dinner as kitchens might close early, try a Guinness and visit smaller pubs for the best experience

This 47 km scenic loop was my favourite road trip during the 7-day trip to Ireland. The drive is packed with amazing views and these are some of the incredible spots you need to stop at:

1️⃣ Dunmore Head – The westernmost point of Ireland with stunning cliffs 🌍
2️⃣ Coumeenole Beach – A wild beach with golden sand and bright blue water 🌊
3️⃣ Dunquin Pier – One of Ireland’s most iconic postcard views 🚢
4️⃣ Caife na Trá – A cozy café with ocean views & homemade scones ☕
5️⃣ Dingle Town – A colorful harbor town with fantastic seafood & lively pubs 🎶

🌟 Extra Stop: The Conor Pass is the highest in Ireland and worth driving through for great views!
💡 Pro Tip: Drive clockwise (it’s mandatory!) & get the best coastal views! 🚗
