Marrakech in photos – A photography guide

The best instagram shots for you with Marrakech in photos - A photography guide

Marrakech is an amazing city for photography, therefore it is worth sharing how I experienced Marrakech in photos – in a photography guide. In my opinion, the best way to experience Marrakech is by just strolling around and taking it all in. Even better, look for a rooftop terrace and just look at the world passing by. On top of that, a full Marrakech city guide will follow soon.

THE SOUKS

Strolling around the souks you’ll be welcomed in an amazing location for photography. It is full of spices, Arabian lamps, carpets and craft men creating items to be sold. Looking back at these pictures I still hoped I shot more images and I definitely feel it is time to still go back some time.

Sahara Desert - Merzouga

When in Marrakech, you have two main options to go and visit the desert. You can either visit the Zargora desert on a 2-day trip or head all the way to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) on a 3-day trip to see the Sahara. However, we choose the latter, as we heard stories about it being way more beautiful. On the way, you also pass for example Aït Ben Haddou and Dades Gorge.
